Antique Edwardian 10K gold amethyst black enamel ring sz 8.5

  

Here is this very beautiful early 20th century antique Edwardian era solid 10k yellow gold ring with a 15 mm x 7 mm long faceted emerald cut natural amethyst gemstone in a beautiful Talle D Epergne black enamel border. This gemstone has been carefully examined under magnification and is a very nice cut with clean facets and no chips or abrasions however there are a couple of tiny chips on the underside of the gemstone seen in the pictures only or under magnification , this amethyst has a beautiful color and it's a approx 6 cts sitting in a very secure 10 prong setting. It weighs 4.4 grams and it is a size 8.5 that can easily be sized to just about any desired size. The black enamel is not damaged at all all the way around and top of the ring measures 18.7 mm north to south , it has a sturdy 2 mm band and the 10K marking on the inside of the band is still visible. Please study the photos this is a gorgeous 100 year old ring with only gentle signs of wear and it is sturdy and in excellent antique condition ready to be worn.
