Antique Jeweled Mantel Clock - Excellent Working Clock Note: any Light spots are not marks... Just light that the camera picked up.

The clock is very clean... Any fingerprints happened during picture taking.

Show up more on the black glass. Features: Black Glass Body; Front, back & sides. Looks to be all one piece of glass with the sides beveled. You can wind the clock through a hole in the back with a gold ornate fitted cover that fits very tightly. No chips or cracks in the glass.

This gold cover is gilted on both sides and the inside is even brighter gold due to no exposure to air. The Guilloche face in a Redish Orange Color Enamel. There is glass that covers the clock. The face has gold gilt on metal numbers.

At each number there is a tiny blue glass stone. Then there are gold dots between them all around the dial. The clock is adorned with lush gold gilt on brass or bronze.

It is still nice and bright and mostly there. The clock sits on four ornate feet.... One in the back has been repaired... (very stable) The clock part is Swiss made by Schild & Co.

This is imprinted in the metal on the back of the clock part. It is also marked 2 adjustments and 6 Jewels. (pictured) Measurements: 7.5 inches tall, 3 inches deep and 4 inches wide This clock is heavy weighing 1.75 pounds.

THINGS TO POINT OUT; THE CLOCK HAS STOP WORKING. WORKED UP UNTIL TODAY WHEN I WENT TO WIND IT... PRICE REDUCTION OF 500.00 DUE TO THE REPAIR COST AND TROUBLE TO DO IT. The one back foot has been repaired and looks very good and sturdy.

It was repaired with a metal bar soldered to brace it and looks well done to me. I did not notice until I took the pictures. Plus its in the back. 15 and close up on 16. I note that the back leg is a smedge shorter and does not effect the clock. It does not move or wobble by itself. The front feet all touch down but its the back one that is a little off. This can be seen best in the picture # 7. Again I did not even notice it tell I took the pictures. That would be the only thing to point out.

The clock is inside the black glass. To set it the clock you take off the ornate cover and reach inside. It is very easy to wind and sort of just flows along with ease.

There is an arrow to tell you wich way to wind it. Also I note it is very quite...
