This is a wonderful piece of history! An antique Victorian Memento Mori Black Enamel Band with English Hallmarks. 6.5 mm wide approx.

9 3/4 US/ T UK. This can be easily sized larger or smaller by a jeweler if you wish. It has some enamel damage as you can see in the pictures but you would expect this from a piece of this age from the 1860's or so. Antique Yellow Gold rings shouldn't be polished because the beautiful patina that blooms on the gold after years is impossible to recreate.
