GEORGIAN GARNET & BLACK ENAMEL MOURNING RING - 18k Gold - dated 1832. A tantalising glimpse into the the past. This ornate Georgian mourning ring holds a special cut garnet in the centre within a border of black enamel and ornate yellow gold framing.

The ring is dedicated to Hannah Whittaker, October 26th, 1832. The garnet is approximately 0.30 carat. J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US).
