Victorian Black Enamel & Seed Pearl Forget Me Not Gold Ring 9ct

  

A Victorian ring which is both striking and charming. An oval gold collet surrounding shiny black enamel, within which is a gold forget me knot decorated with seed pearls. The shoulders are engraved and the engraving filled by black enamel. Some loss to the enamel on the shoulders.

The back shank is quite thick and plain. There are hallmarks to the inside but these are disrupted by the sizing. The slight undulation in the enamel surface is not visible at normal size.
