Victorian Forget Me not Ring 15ct Gold Black Enamel Antique Chalcedony Cameo. This is a very lovey antique ring made from unmarked yellow gold that tests as approx 15ct. Set with a chalcedony that has a raised carved'forget me not' flower to its centre. The ring is circa mid 19. Century and has been set to a bezel crimped edge setting.

The setting originally has a rope design around the edge which is deficient in places from historic wear but the stone remains secure. The ring has black enamelling in an ornate foliate design to the shoulders and looks lovely when worn.

A special ring and collectors item. Black onyx (chalcedony) raised forget me not floral cabochon. Ring head dimensions L9.9mm x W7.5mm. Rear shank width 2.9mm centre back. Condition, antique used with historic wear and faults as described above, overall good for its era with well defined black enamelling detailing.
