Antique Victorian 9ct Gold Black Enamel In Memory Of Mourning brooch

  

An exquisite early Victorian mourning brooch. This truly unique brooch crafted in a minimum of 9carat gold features a gold inscription in the enamel which reads "In Memory Of".

The brooch has a glass compartment in the center containing it's original woven hair inside. The black enamel is in such good condition which is amazing given the age of this piece. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian mourning jewellery perfect for any collector! This brooch comes presented in a Millys Marvel's gift box hand tied with green satin ribbon.

All other boxes are for display purpose only. DIMENSIONS - 4.1cm x 2.9cm. CONDITION - This brooch is in very good antique condition. There is some surface wear & light scratching to the glass in the middle.
