Beautiful, Finely Crafted Antique Victorian Pearl & Black Enamel 15CT Gold Ring

  
This enchanting band is mounted at its center with a lustrous white genuine and natural Pearl, set in a pretty radiant Star shaped "closed back" setting and strikingly surrounded with deep black enamel work. The oval shaped crown measures 9 mm x 7 mm; and is presented between black enamel rectangles decorated shoulders of a parallel 4 mm wide shank.

The interior of the shank is still faintly embossed with the British Birmingham hallmark. The remaining hallmarks have been lost when this ring's shank was resized. The rich yellow gold has tested as 15CT: when exposed to professional precious metals testing chemicals.

The condition of this fascinating antique Victorian ring is very good: remarkable considering its age. There are no signs of damage to the secure set Pearl or signs of significant wear to the lustrous enamels. The shank has not thinned over time.
