Antique Etruscan revival 18ct Gold brooch with a circular decorative centre fashioned as a domed star decorated in black enamel set with a small natural blister pearl. There are 2 adjacent circular domes similarly decorated. Marked 9ct gold, assayed Chester, dates 1911- 1912 (George V) made by George Lowe.
The actual circular decorative part of the brooch tests as 18ct and has cannetille relief work to the front and some small dinks to the back. There is a very tiny area of historic damage to one of the domes inner sides, however when worn the affected area is not that noticeable due its location. A very unusual rare decorative antique brooch, the integral pin is strong and secure and fastens as it should. Will come in a presentation box. Central Circular Dome; 13.6mm in diameter.Outer domes; 5.3mm in diameter. Central Blister Pearl measures; 3.3mm x 2mm.
Will come in a small box.
