Russian 14 karat rose gold, hinged opening cuff bracelet with locket center top, capped by a round cover inlaid with an enamel cross and five white enamel dots, surrounded by a corkscrew-spiraled fine band, the rest of the outer face of the hollow body of the bracelet hand engraved in geometric line and shading work. The bracelet weighs 12.8 pennyweights, and the central locket cap circle measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter, and inside circumference of the bracelet body measures approximately 6 1/4 inches. Marked on the inner face of the crown "56" for 14 karat gold, an indistinct maker's mark T? ", followed by a rounded triangular mark with "186? Below an indistinct figure possibly of St.

George on horse slaying the dragon for Moscow? There are very fine shallow surface scratches overall, the spiral band around the cap has been slightly pulled and distorted from a regular even circle, the cuff hinge pin has moved slightly so that it extends just above the face on one side presenting a tiny sharp edge there, and the bottom outer face has been deeply indented with creasing along the engraving lines (see photo), otherwise in good antique condition.
