Edwardian black enamel & pearl mourning ring 15ct gold size UK L 1/2

  
Ntique black enamel mourning ring star settings with natural seed pearls to the front. There is some slight enamel loss close inspection but not enough to spoil the rings overall appearance. The pearls have a nice aged lustre and the ring has English hallmarks for Chester, dating 1904-05. The makers mark is rubbed but we. It to'William Hayes' and the ring has a glazed relic compartment verso to the front that is intact with original glazing which appears to be fixed. Antique with signs of historic wear commensurate with age, overall in very good antique condition, please note that the antique box is not included and this ring will come in a new ring box. Ring may fit a little larger as the glazed compartment is raised against the ring mandrel so may fit to a UK M.
