Rare Victorian Handkerchief Holder & Ring in 15k Gold with Black Enamel Accents

  

Victorian 15 karat (tested) yellow gold handkerchief holder. The handkerchief holder is accented with black enamel in immaculate condition and a tassel. This is truly a very unique and rare handkerchief holder. The handkerchief is put in the center and then the slide is pulled tight to hold the handkerchief. The mesh holder has a gold slide accented with black enamel.

The mesh holder is in very good condition. At the bottom of the holder is a hand engraved decorative plate from which four tassels drop. At the bottom of each tassel is a gold ball. The tassels are also in very good condition. This is an exceptional find with relatively little wear. Attached to the mesh handkerchief holder is a gold chain and a plain gold band ring.... Ring Size 7 -7.25. Extended to fullest length, the woven gold is approximately 3.75 long below the enamel clasp, and when fully open the handkerchief holder measures approx.
