Victorian 9ct 9k Gold 375 Bullseye Agate Black Enamel Mourning Brooch Glass

  
This incredible Victorian brooch has a large bullseye agate at the centre, which is surrounded by detailed black enamelling. The brooch itself is a beautifully warm toned 9 carat gold; the piece isn't marked but has been professionally tested. The original glass compartment is still intact and appears to hold a piece of cloth, which may have once had hair woven into it- however it looks untouched so I'd speculate that this hasn't been used as a hair work keepsake. The glass looks to be in very good condition and has no major scratches, and no cracks. The pin is ever so slightly bent however still fastens securely, and the enamel is mostly in great condition, with the exception of a small localised patch of damage (on the lower right side of the main product photo). In the photograph of the back please note that the glass is NOT cracked, it's the reflection of the pin. Purity: unmarked 9 carat yellow gold.
