This is a magnificent Victorian - Belle Epoque Picture locket pendant necklace in Black Onyx, and 14 Karat Gold with Pearl adornments in a Flower Motif design. This is one of the most stunning Victorian lockets we have seen. The locket is an oval locket in Black Onyx with a flower motif set with pearls in 14 Karat Yellow Gold.

The bale is decorated with black Enamel. The reverse of the locket has a wonderful compartment which opens for you to place your treasured photo. The locket is absolutely exquisite with classic Victorian design. I love the elegance and simplicity of this locket. The black onyx feels wonderful in the hand with its sleek smooth texture and lovely scalloped border.

The pearls which are each set in cut down collets in gold are beautiful. The design in gold and pearls is just divine. The locket is in excellent condition. It opens and closes securely. The locket is 1 3/4 inches tall (42mm) not including the bales.

With the bales the locket is 2 1/4 inches (6cm) tall. It is 1 1/4 inches (36mm) wide. The opening on the reverse for photos is 31mm by 21mm. The locket is 14 Karat Gold. The locket weighs 21 grams.
